How Does a Full Turnkey PCB Assembly Work？

Stage 1: Communication

For a quick and good quotation, We need the following information:

Required files to quote for PCB fabrication

1. Gerber file (RS-274-X, or RS-274-D format), it should include following:

Trace layer, Aperature/D code file, NC Excellon Drill File, Drill Tool list (if not listed in NC Drill file), Soldermask, Silkscreen, Readme.txt file
We can also accept other file, such as .PCB, PCBDOC, BRD, CAM, CAD, ODB++(.tgz), ASC and DXF.

Stage 2: Review and Quote

We provide free PCB file checks to make sure there are no missing components or incorrect construction, and check that these file designs are within the capabilities of our production process.

Our engineers issue a DFM report for your reference, and our team of manufacturing experts provides recommendations to help optimize your order for procurement.

Step 3: PCB Prototype

Even if your new design has passed review,we still strongly recommend doing a small amount of prototyping to verify your circuit design and manufacturability before bulky production.It enables the reduction of the risk of costly rework during mass production.

We proceed with the PCB/PCBA prototype order first, send it to you for approval, and provide feedback on the prototype run to ensure smooth batch production.

Step 4: PCB Manufacturing

Once the prototypes are verified, we move forward to the production stage after obtaining the customer’s permission.

We prepare all necessary materials for assembly during PCB production, so assembly can begin immediately after completing the PCB fabrication.
All the boards undergo 100% inspection and E-test. We offer quality reports for your reexamination.

Step 5: PCB Assembly

We offer consignment, full turnkey and partial turnkey assembly services.

We source all the parts directly from the manufacturers or from authorized distributors to avoid counterfeit parts.

Standard leads times range from 7-15 days. If BOM purchased by us, and the parts are not in stock,1 week will be added for most cases.

Step 6: Inspection and Testing

We strictly follow the international standards and customer standards to inspect and control the delivery quality.

We have developed a fully controlled in-house quality test process to assure the quality of the products we deliver.

Step 7: Packing & Shipping

Packaging: Packaging usually involves sealing the material around the printed circuit board to keep dust, moisture and other foreign objects out. All our PCB boards are shipped in vacuum packages. All our PCBA boards are shipped with anti-static packaging and Shock-proof packaging.

Transportation time: You can choose among various shipping methods and have the products delivered at any destination all around the world. Follows are some Standard Shipping Times for your reference.

Step 8: After-sale Service

Delivery is not the end,just the beginning of next cooperation.

We timely follow up the quality performance of the products after delivery, and take quick and effective improvement actions for the feedback of customer’s abnormal condition.

If there is any problem with your order, our team of engineers will conduct a meeting for a solution within 48 hours.

If a defect arises under normal use for a period of 90 days from date of shipment, we will re-fabricate the boards for free or make refund.
